OREGON, USA – MLS of Central Oregon (MLSCO), the Southern Oregon MLS (SOMLS), and the Klamath County Association of REALTORS® (KCAR) announce new joint MLS database and group transition to FBS’ Flexmls ® Platform. Highlighting flexibility and partnership as key decision drivers, the three MLS’s serve approximately 4,000 members covering 44% of the Oregon market. The Flexmls Platform currently serves 158 MLS Flexmls customers and 254,000+ MLS member subscribers.

With a history of collaboration focused on improving the products and services offered across each MLS, MLSCO, SOMLS and KCAR leadership each decided to transfer from MLS vendor Rapattoni to FBS, entering a data share that utilizes the Flexmls Platform. Identifying a technology partner with the ability to meet a diverse group of member needs was imperative. "In preparation for launching a shared database for three MLS’s, we sought a partner with best in class technology, proven experience and software that had enough flexibility to meet all of our members’ needs." Tina Grimes, Southern Oregon MLS CEO said. Casie Conlon, MLS of Central Oregon CEO added, "To succeed, we knew that we wanted and needed a partner with the expertise to guide us through important conversations and keep the project on track. FBS was the partner and Flexmls was the Platform unanimously chosen by the three of us to make that happen. We are excited to enter this new phase with their team and technology by our side."

FBS National Account Manager, Matt Epstein, worked together with the MLSCO, SOMLS, and KCAR teams to bring their vision to life. "These three MLSs sought a partner with vested interest in the success of this new joint venture. We look forward to exceeding their expectations with Flexmls, our intuitive, flexible, time-saving software and the standard of service FBS is well known for, that only an employee-owned company can provide."

At this time, the Oregon Data Share is only a shared database, not a merger of any corporate entities. The conversion process was completed on April 27, 2020.

For the past several years, the MLS of Central Oregon (MLSCO), the Southern Oregon MLS (SOMLS) and the Klamath County Association of REALTORS ® (KCAR) have been exploring ways to work together to best serve members and provide the greatest tools for advancing real estate careers and serving clientele. After almost two years of research, demos, and meetings, the three MLS’s agreed to move forward with a shared MLS database. Each MLS will remain separate business entities but share one MLS system.
