The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) has hired TJ Bolan as Director of Programs. Bolan will start his employment with CMLS on September 20th at CMLS2021. Through his role as Director of Programs, TJ will help members explore issues, provide solutions, advance their multiple listing service and ultimately, help build a better marketplace. He will be responsible for programs: education, best practices and MLS policy, member services, and events.

Bolan has been a part of the real estate industry since 2006, starting with Northwest MLS. After working in several roles from Listing Input, Lockbox Administration to Membership departments, he moved over to the Communications Team where he was responsible for communications, marketing and event management. After serving members for 10 years at Northwest MLS, TJ took a position at national brokerage firm Redfin where he started as MLS Compliance Specialist, and soon transitioned into leading the company’s brokerage expansion efforts. With his team, he led the company’s national and international expansion efforts, adding over 100 million traffic sessions to Redfin.com and orchestrating the roll-out of important MLS policy changes for the past 5 years.

“TJ understands the value of strong partnerships between MLSs and brokerages. Between his roles at Northwest MLS and the MLS partnership emphasis in his role at Redfin, TJ knows the that  MLSs are Making The Market Work®,” said Denée Evans, CEO of CMLS. “He will bring this unique perspective to CMLS, and I am excited for TJ to join an already dynamic team.  TJ’s enthusiasm, combined with his knowledge of our industry helps position CMLS and our members for the future.”
