Today, the CMLS Board of Directors took an important step and submitted an amicus brief in support of petition for certiorari to the Supreme Court of the United States in Designworks Homes, Inc. v. Columbia House of Brokers Realty, Inc.CMLS believes consumers should be able to market their homes for sale with simple floor plans without risk to themselves, agents, brokers, and MLSs. The Copyright Act supports CMLS’s position.
