Brad Bjelke, CEO of UtahRealEstate.com, Named Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year

Indianapolis, IN, September 30, 2022 — The Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) named Brad Bjelke, CEO of UtahRealEstate.com, the eighth recipient of the Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year Award during the CMLS conference (CMLS2022) on September 30th. Brian Donnellan, President and CEO of Bright MLS and past recipient of the Shuttleworth Award, and Ryan Kirkham, Chair of the UtahRealEstate.com Board of Directors, made the announcement to more than 1,000 attendees at CMLS2022, which brings together executives and leadership of multiple listing services throughout North America. The Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year Award is an annual award that recognizes leaders who are determined to have exhibited the highest qualities of leadership within their organizations and demonstrated a dedication to excellence in building a better marketplace.

In his tenure as CEO of UtahRealEstate.com, Bjelke oversees a sophisticated organization that develops real estate software and provides customer support to more than 20,000 real estate professionals. Since taking the helm of the company, he has revolutionized the look, performance, and capabilities of the software, and he recently oversaw the migration of the company’s hardware to be 100% cloud based. Brad also is one of the founders of MLS Aligned, an entity that works with a number of MLS organizations to build software for the industry and solve data related challenges.

Bjelke served as the past Chair of the CMLS Board of Directors, served on numerous committees of the National Association of REALTORS®, and he was named a RISMedia Newsmaker in 2021 and 2022. Brad was also named as one of the most powerful people in residential real estate in the United States in 2020, 2021 and 2022 by T360.

Bjelke was selected as the eighth recipient of the award because of his leadership style, work ethic, and his unique ability to bring people together to build a better marketplace.

he award itself is named after Peter Shuttleworth, former executive vice president of Metro MLS and the first CMLS Hall of Fame inductee.
